Managing Principal

Mr. Inamdar is a principal of Magellan Housing, an emerging national leader in the development of multifamily workforce an affordable housing communities. Over the last 17 years, he has been focused on the development, underwriting, and financing of multifamily housing communities throughout Texas.

Prior to founding Magellan Housing, Amay led the southwest development office of The Michaels Organization. In that role, he was responsible for implementing strategies to grow the organization’s portfolio in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Arkansas.

Prior to Michaels, Amay managed and led numerous organizations involved in the development of market and affordable housing. He has extensive experience in a varied mix of housing developments, from $2,000,000 townhouse developments to $100,000,000 single-family home developments.

Amay also has a strong financial background due to his years working in the corporate and commercial banking industry for companies such as Washington Mutual, FleetBoston Financial, and Bank of America.

Mr. Inamdar is a principal of Magellan Housing, an emerging national leader in the development of multifamily workforce and affordable housing communities. Since 2005, he has been focused on the development, underwriting, and financing of multifamily housing communities throughout Florida.

Prior to founding Magellan Housing, Nick led the South Florida development office of The Gatehouse Group. In that role, he assisted in the development of over 1,100 restricted multifamily apartments in South Florida with a cost basis in excess of $260,000,000.

He recently served as Chair for the Florida statewide industry organization, the Coalition of Affordable Housing Providers (CAHP). He also serves as a board member for the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) and has previously served as a Gubernatorial appointed board member to the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX). Nick is a member of Leadership Florida Class 30 and was honored as a finalist by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce in their 2012 R.E.A.L (Real Estate Achievers and Leaders).

Executive Vice President

Mr. Grindler serves as Executive Vice President of Magellan Housing, where he leads all acquisition and development activities across Florida. With a deep commitment to expanding access to high-quality affordable housing, Mr. Grindler brings almost two decades of experience in commercial real estate development, financing, and operations.

Prior to joining Magellan, he was a partner at a national law firm, where he litigated complex construction and design defect matters. He also led acquisitions and development for a prominent full-service real estate firm based in South Florida, with a focus on urban street front retail assets. This broad expertise enables him to manage every phase of the development process—from site selection and entitlements to construction, stabilization, and long-term asset management.

Mr. Grindler has been involved in more than $1 billion in capital markets and development transactions. He is a member of the Florida Bar, a licensed Florida real estate broker, and previously served on the City of Miami’s Housing and Commercial Loan Committee.
