Amay A. Inamdar
Mr. Amay Inamdar is a Principal at Magellan Housing with over two decades of experience in the development, underwriting, and financing of multifamily housing communities throughout Texas. Mr. Inamdar is dedicated to creating vibrant, sustainable communities that meet the needs of working families. His leadership demonstrates a profound understanding of the intricate dynamics of affordable housing and a dedication to achieving lasting impact.
Before founding Magellan Housing, Amay led the southwest development office of The Michaels Organization. In that role, he was responsible for implementing strategies to grow the organization’s portfolio in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Arkansas.
His initiatives to develop market- and affordable housing have resulted in multiple nominations and awards, including the Urban Land Institute Development of Distinction and the Houston Business Journal Landmark Award.
He has extensive experience in a varied mix of real estate development with a strong financial background due to years working in corporate and commercial banking for Washington Mutual, FleetBoston Financial, and Bank of America.
Nick A. Inamdar
Mr. Nick Inamdar is a Principal at Magellan Housing. Since 2005, he has guided the development, underwriting, and financing of numerous multifamily housing developments throughout Florida. With a sharp focus on innovation and community partnerships, Mr. Inamdar plays a key role in delivering high-quality, affordable homes that support both residents and local governments.
Before founding Magellan Housing, Nick led the South Florida development office of The Gatehouse Group. In that role, he assisted in the development of over 1,100 restricted multifamily apartments in South Florida with a cost basis in excess of $260,000,000.
He is a board member and former chair for the Florida industry organization, the Coalition of Attainable Housing Providers (CAHP). He is a board member of Casa Familia, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to creating safe, affordable, and sustainable housing communities, with features, amenities, and services designed to benefit adults with Intellectual, Developmental, and Other Related Disabilities. He previously served as a board member for the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) and had previously served as a Gubernatorial appointed board member to the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX). Nick is a member of Leadership Florida Class 30.
Ryan Grindler
Mr. Ryan Grindler serves as Executive Vice President of Magellan Housing, where he leads all acquisition and development activities across Florida. With a deep commitment to expanding access to high-quality affordable housing, Mr. Grindler brings almost two decades of experience in commercial real estate development, financing, and operations.
Prior to joining Magellan, he was a partner at a national law firm, where he litigated complex construction and design defect matters. He also led acquisitions and development for a prominent full-service real estate firm based in South Florida, with a focus on urban street front retail assets. This broad expertise enables him to manage every phase of the development process—from site selection and entitlements to construction, stabilization, and long-term asset management.
Mr. Grindler has been involved in more than $1 billion in capital markets and development transactions. He is a member of the Florida Bar, a licensed Florida real estate broker, and previously served on the City of Miami’s Housing and Commercial Loan Committee.
